WORKING WITH UPSURE

AI Submissions Guide

Good cover starts with a conversation, not a perfect prompt.

We welcome questions from our customers and founders getting to know us. A short, specific introduction helps us understand your business and get the right conversation started.

Start small. We will ask the next questions.

A few sentences are plenty for a first enquiry. Please include:

  1. Your business

A short blurb about what you do, who your customers are and your website or ABN.

  2. Your risks and timing

The cover or concern you want help with, plus any renewal, contract or funding deadline. It is fine if you are not sure which policy you need.

  3. How to reach you

Your name, email address and phone number so we can get in touch to discuss your requirements.

We will get in touch to discuss your requirements and ask for any documents we need. You do not need to build a complete insurance brief before saying hello.

AI is welcome. Keep the enquiry yours.

Using AI to organise your thoughts or make writing easier is fine. Please check that the details are accurate, keep the introduction brief and highlight the questions that actually matter to your business.

Please avoid sending long, generic AI-generated questionnaires or exhaustive lists of hypothetical scenarios as a first enquiry. A conversation usually gets us to the relevant issues much faster. Genuine questions, including detailed questions about your own cover, are always welcome.

Need a straightforward tech quote?

For many founders, Instant Cover may be the simplest starting point. Eligible Australian tech businesses can answer questions and move through a live quote and bind pathway for Cyber, Professional Indemnity and Management Liability, subject to available policy parameters and underwriting acceptance.

If your business needs a more detailed review, we can talk through the next step with you.

One coordinated approach to the market.

Specialist brokers often approach overlapping underwriting markets. Asking several brokers to approach the same underwriters can duplicate work and complicate the placement process, rather than create more options.

We generally prefer to agree a clear brief and work with you as your chosen broker, rather than join a multiple-broker quote exercise. If another broker is already working on your insurance, please tell us upfront, including which markets have been approached if you know. We can then discuss whether and how UpSure can help. You are always free to choose the broker that is right for you.

Policy reviews need a clear brief.

We do not offer free, standalone comparisons of an existing policy or another broker's quote. A meaningful review needs context about your business, contracts and the outcome you want.

If you are considering moving your insurance to UpSure, tell us what you would like to improve. We can explain our process and agree the scope of any review before work begins. This does not limit the questions existing clients can ask about cover we arrange or service.

Moving to UpSure

A short hello is a good start.

Tell us what you are building and what you need help with. We will take it from there.
