YOUR BUSINESS. OUR FOCUS.

UpSure Manufacturing

Built around what you make, and how you make it.

Your production line connects people, machinery, software and suppliers. We help bring those exposures into the same conversation.

For manufacturers, hardware businesses and connected production.

Understand the production line

Identify critical machinery, bottlenecks and replacement lead times.

Follow the finished product

Review end uses, export territories and customer contracts.

Connect physical and digital risk

Consider production systems alongside the plant they control.

A CLEARER STARTING POINT

A small component can carry a big responsibility.

Your role might include design, assembly, contract manufacturing or exporting finished goods. Tell us how the product is used, where it ends up and who relies on your production. The cover needs to reflect those specifics.

  • Advanced manufacturing
  • Hardware & electronics
  • Component suppliers
  • Product manufacturers

SMART MANUFACTURING, REAL DEPENDENCIES

What happens when the line stops?

Replacing a machine can be only the first step. Specialist parts, installation, testing and customer reapproval may all shape the recovery timeline. Tell us where a single failure could stop the operation.

  • Identify single-source suppliers and critical plant.
  • Separate physical damage, breakdown and cyber triggers.
  • Review export territories and contractual product obligations.

LET'S MAKE IT SIMPLE

A short brief.
A real conversation.

Tell us what you do, what is changing and when you need cover. We will explain the next step and what else we need.

Start your enquiry

A few useful things to have ready

  • Products, end uses, design responsibilities and export markets
  • Site details, plant values and production bottlenecks
  • Supplier dependencies, quality controls and recall procedures
  • Customer contracts, current policies and claims history

Complex quotes require an engagement letter before detailed broking work begins. Here is how that works.

GOOD QUESTIONS

A little clarity
before you start.

Something else on your mind?
Ask our team

Is a product recall included in products liability?

Not automatically. Third-party injury or property damage, the cost of recalling a product and the cost of replacing defective goods are different exposures. We will discuss them separately and confirm what the available wording includes.

Does property cover include machinery breakdown?

Not necessarily. Damage caused by an insured external event and an internal mechanical or electrical breakdown may be treated differently. Provide a plant schedule and maintenance details so those gaps can be reviewed.

What changes when we export?

Territory, jurisdiction, end use and contractual obligations matter. Tell us before selling into a new market, particularly where a customer requests specific limits or indemnities. An Australian policy should not be assumed to answer every overseas claim.

Can cyber insurance cover a connected factory?

Some digital interruption and incident-response exposures may be insurable, but operational technology, physical damage and dependent suppliers need careful wording review. Explain how your systems connect to the plant and what an outage would stop.

What happens after I enquire?

Our team reviews your activities and the scope of the work before approaching insurers. These enquiries are broker-led, not automatic quotes. For complex placements, we agree an engagement letter before detailed broking work begins. Making an enquiry does not start cover.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Let's talk about what keeps your production moving.

General information only. This does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Availability and cover depend on underwriting acceptance and the policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits and excesses. An enquiry is not confirmation of cover. Read the relevant policy documents and our Financial Services Guide.
