YOUR BUSINESS. OUR FOCUS.
UpSure Hospitality
For the business behind every welcome.
Guests see the service. You manage the people, equipment, suppliers and everything it takes to keep the doors open. Let's talk about protecting that work.
For cafes, restaurants, accommodation and venue operators.
Start with how you trade
Tell us about the venue, services and customers, not just the business name.
Think about recovery
Discuss repair times, replacement equipment and continuing costs.
Support when things change
Bring us new sites, events and activities before launch.
A CLEARER STARTING POINT
The unexpected doesn't wait for a quiet day.
A kitchen breakdown, damaged fit-out or guest injury can interrupt more than a single service. We look at your activities, trading hours and dependencies, including accommodation, catering, alcohol service or events where relevant.
- Cafes & restaurants
- Accommodation businesses
- Caterers & venues
- Hospitality groups
THE COVER CONVERSATION
What might your business need?
Start with the exposures, then the policy. Here are some of the areas we can discuss.
Property & interruption
Premises, fit-out and contents, with interruption cover linked to the insured events and recovery period.
Explore this areaEquipment & stock
Discuss machinery breakdown, refrigeration and stock deterioration. These are not automatically part of property cover.
Discuss with our teamPublic & products liability
Allegations involving guest injury, damage or the food and drinks you serve, subject to the declared activities.
Explore this areaCyber insurance
Customer information, bookings and payment systems can all create digital dependencies and privacy exposures.
Explore this areaManagement liability
Discuss employment-related allegations and governance exposures for your hospitality business.
Explore this areaCatering & off-site work
Equipment and stock on the move, plus liability away from your main venue, need to be declared and checked.
Discuss with our teamThese are areas to discuss, not a recommended package or confirmation that cover is available. We will confirm insurer appetite and the scope we can arrange. Policy terms, exclusions, limits and excesses apply. Workers compensation and other compulsory arrangements need separate consideration.
KEEP THE WHOLE OPERATION IN VIEW
The coffee machine is only part of the story.
Recovery can involve replacement equipment, trades, landlords and suppliers. A realistic interruption discussion starts with how long it could actually take to trade again after insured damage.
- Map critical equipment and repair or replacement lead times.
- Include seasonal turnover and ongoing wages or rent.
- Declare events, alcohol service and off-site catering.
LET'S MAKE IT SIMPLE
A short brief.
A real conversation.
Tell us what you do, what is changing and when you need cover. We will explain the next step and what else we need.
Start your enquiryA few useful things to have ready
- Venue details, opening hours and all services offered
- Fit-out, kitchen equipment and stock values
- Turnover, staffing and recovery-time estimates
- Leases, current cover and previous claims
Complex quotes require an engagement letter before detailed broking work begins. Here is how that works.
Does interruption cover every closure?
No. The policy must respond to the cause of the closure. Many arrangements depend on insured property damage. Utility failures, infectious disease, equipment breakdown and other events may be excluded or need specific extensions.
Is refrigerated stock covered if equipment fails?
Only if the relevant cover and trigger apply. Tell us about refrigeration, alarms, maintenance and stock values. Machinery breakdown and deterioration of stock should be reviewed explicitly, including exclusions and limits.
Do I need to mention alcohol service or events?
Yes. Describe your full operation, including licensed service, entertainment, catering and special events. A policy written for a cafe should not be assumed to cover a materially different venue or activity.
Can cover follow a second venue?
Not automatically. Contact us before taking possession or starting a fit-out. The new address, entity, activities and values need to be reviewed and any required changes confirmed.
What happens after I enquire?
Our team reviews your activities and the scope of the work before approaching insurers. These enquiries are broker-led, not automatic quotes. For complex placements, we agree an engagement letter before detailed broking work begins. Making an enquiry does not start cover.

Tell us about the place you've built.
General information only. This does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Availability and cover depend on underwriting acceptance and the policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits and excesses. An enquiry is not confirmation of cover. Read the relevant policy documents and our Financial Services Guide.
